Hi everyone!

I'm wondering if there are any avid rockclimbers out there who would like to hit up a local climbing hall, or better yet go someplace outdoors?

I'm quite new to HK, so don't really know much about the cliffs out here, but from what I've seen so far they look fantastic! I have quickdraws, harness etc. so any sportclimbing routes would be fine. I could probably track down a rope if we need it.

I've done a bit of it a while ago but I am new at it and don't have equipment, was thinking at starting again on an indoor wall. Maybe could give it a try again with someone more experienced.

Sounds good! There is a nice looking wall in Tsim Sha Tsui and I heard of another one in Jordan. Perhaps we could check them out. Send me a PM and we could arrange a time.

I am a member of a local climbing club - we do climbs on one of the many excellent artificial walls here at least once a week and also arrange outdoor climbs - Send me a PM if you want to join us some time!

Does anyone have a rope?
I'm planning on buying one soon. Apparently there are heaps of nice sites around HK where you can sport climb. I think it may also be possible to setup a top-rop at Shek-O beach aswell. For more info have a look at http://www.hongkongclimbing.com/guides/contents.html
