Does anyone know a good website that would give me an idea of the prices of electric appliances and computer stuff in Hong Kong? I'm trying to figure out if it's worth waiting until I get to Hong Kong in January before buying a few things... In particular, how much are iPods going for in HK these days?

In case anyone cares, iPods are about 27 percent cheaper in HK than in France at the moment....

Oops.. thought you were in the US. Pretty much everything is cheaper in Hk when compared to Europe/UK.

For widely available items the US is a bit cheaper than Hong Kong.

For computer prices http://buycomp.hkgolden.com/ is the best and I think only (in english anyway) site.

Prices for iPods if you shop around will only get about $100-$200 less than whats listed on the HK apple store, so you might as well buy from there.

Why insist on the Ipod? why not creative's Jukebox Zen? It stores a lot more and costs a lot less. Hits the right spot if you ask me. Currently its going for HK$2580 in Wanchai. You may be able to get it marginally cheaper in Mongkok or elsewhere.
