I am planning to join the Pure Fitness at Kinwick on a pay as you go basis but the prices seem a bit steep ($999 joining fee + $999 per month). Does anyone know if these prices are in anyway negotiable? I was to embarrassed to ask!

I think you can get a $599 per month deal if you take a 2 year membership. Also definitely worth trying to get them to waive the joining fee

Unfortunately I am only here for a few months so I cant commit to 2 years. The rep said that the fees were non-negotiable but I wanted to double check with others to see if that was actually true

i think there is a gym called seasons or something...located in citibank tower and it has a pay as you go deal...maybe about 3 months at a go....and it works out fairly cheap...and they have a pool too.

i go to pure at the ifc which is the same price as you mention...kinwick should be about 799 or so, not 999, but as you said, its on a pay as you go.

well, if you intend on using it...its worth it. its a great gym.
