i m writing my paper on chungking mansion and there are some questions i have encountered. i know the building itself was completed in 1961 and most residents were chinese. i would like to know the process of non-chinese, especially indians moving in. would be grateful to have ur kind reply.

i find the ethnic diversity of the place fascinating, and the food is quite good and cheap. there is a stall on the ground level that sells rice with your choice of curry for only $16 plus these delicious trianglular bread filled with potatoes and peas for $4, all in all making a totally satisfactory $20 meal
