CK35 is on a distinguished road
Hi friends from Hong Kong.

I really have to thank Rubina for her kind help to arrange the day trip for me in Hong Kong.

I am looking forward to meet all the new friends and shopping and sightseeing.

Hey Rubina, what are you planning to do on the peak? Dinner? Or just take a peek (pun intended) at the lights of HK (e.g. walk the circle trail)? I will be back from Australia on Tuesday and might decide to join if the program is interesting.

Victoria peak, is in Central, we need to take the Hog Kong Peak Tam to it, the cost i will update you with - soon, I don't remember (Must be old age catching up!!n ) The wax museum was closed for sometime, I am hoping it is open once again, a must see place....7 will be a little too late to see the view from the top unless, you want to see it lit at night, we can take advantage of both lights by leaving around 5 ish 5.30 pm at the very latest...so hoping that you will be able to make it.

Warm regards,

Rubina.

Hey texasaxel,

You can make the program for us once we reach the top and see the view - how does that sound, peek - dinner - talk - laugh - fun -and whatever you think will make it interesting enough for you to be there!!!

Warm regards,

Rubina.

Peak Tram costs $20 one-way and $30 round-trip, octopus cards are accepted.

The Peak Tower building is currently under construction; the attractions including the Madame Tussaud's wax museum are closed but this it is supposed to reopen in March, just not sure the exact date

You can reach the terminus on foot from MTR Central Station J2 exit.

Try and stick in Stanley/Repulse for the early afternoon. If you're stuck in Central then may as well do the Star Ferry to TST and ocean terminal to burn an hour or 2.

Have the Peak tower refurbishments been finished yet? The last time I went to the Peak (sometime in January), the tower was closed down.

Anyway, I highly recommend the number 15 bus from Admiralty. Excellent views whilst going up.
