Folks I need a flat pretty soon but the only places I know where to look are this website and asiaxpat.com, and there's slim pickings on either site.

I have found some websites for rental apartments but they are all way over my budget (which is 2000 to 3500). When I first arrived here a couple of months ago plenty of Chinese people I met said there are plenty of places for my budget, so I'm guessing it's possible.

in Kowloon/NT area. On the website, just enter your budget and
it'll come out with listings for you.
I entered $5K and got 32 listings in Kowloon.
Call the listing number to get in touch with the agent.

For that amount, it is worth your while to hit the streets. Look for smaller estate agents (who many a time are not sophisticated enough or large enough to handle listings on gohome etc).
