Hello,

Do you guys have a suggestion of a good place to buy computer stuff such as special cables (I need an adapter USB to IDE), an external DVD burner, things like that? Fortress only have limited catalog for that type of items. I need a store equivalent to Compusa or Bestbuy in the US.

And I am thinking of buying a super laptop from a firm in the US, are there any problems, taxes or special considerations to ship that from the US to HK?
(the firm is Alienware, laptops specially design for games, the best)

Mongkok and wanchai and shamshuipo are the best places for cables etc.

No duties on computer imports.

Might as well hold out a bit for Dell's new line up. Alienware's new Dual core notebooks are not that hot right now .. good hype, seem to underperform.

Cool, thank you guys. Any idea when the new Dells wil be on the market? Or suggestion of other extra power gaming laptop? The idea is to run something like Doom 3 without any freezing.
