The Canny Man in Wanchai is exactly what you're looking for. It is run by a true aficionado and has a wide range of whiskies available.
It is downstairs from the Wharney Hotel on Lockhart Road- number 75 or thereabouts.

Er, molt whisky? Is that the type where the label is falling off the bottle?

Only a few bars that I know have interesting selections of Malt Whisky... the Chinnery bar at the Mandarin was one, as was Caledonia, but both of them have shut

The Canny Man bar in the basement of The Wharney hotel in Wanchai is advertising 120 different malts http://www.asiatravel.com/wharney/v4.html

The FCC has quite a good collection (about 20+) but you need to be, or be with, a member to drink there...

Pick up bottle of Bushmills 16 year old single malt at Duty Free (not sure if you get it in HK ... definately in London)

Thank you for your information.
I hope I can find some brands which I really want to try.

Have you seen Mortrach bottled by Cadenhead's?

I just sent 16yo to my father as his birthday present.
It is easy to find them on the internet in Japan.

Thank you for your advise.
You recommend this bar, too.

FCC, I went there many years ago with my friend.
But I was too young to enjoy malt whisky at that time.

JunPei -- Yes, that is a great single malt to try ... Bushmills 16 ...

Happijoijoi -- I'd would not go to California to sit down and enjoy a good single malt .. it just does not have the proper sit down atmosphere.
