I noticed on thie HK immigration site that in order for my wife to sponsor me, she must:

"the sponsor is able to support the dependant's living at a standard well above the subsistence level and provide him/her with suitable accommodation in Hong Kong."

But what is SHE is really the dependant of ME - I am the one who brings the income, and will be providing her with accomodation, substinence, etc, in Hong Kong. Just that I need to get a long term ID first...

This is really confusing to me... Anyone here in a similar situation? How did it work out?
