UK Sunday Paper

Hello,
Does anyone know where I can buy a copy of the Sunday Times (from the UK) here in Hong Kong? Preferably with all its supplements, magazines etc. I don't mind how late in the week it gets here, but I miss my weekly read!
thankyou very much

Any major book stands like Dymocks, Jumbo Grade or even the larger hotels will stock FT. I maybe wrong, but I think even the street vendor outside the HK Star ferry pier also too.

The Sunday Times is not the FT. But yes - the vendors outside the star Ferry would be a good place to look. Also the little newsagent beside the escalator on Elgin Street has quite a lot of UK titles.

Sorry to hijack but also does anybody know where to get FHM singapore edition in HK?

Jumbo and Page One and Dymocks used to stock them but no longer do, Also I've thought about getting a subscription but they want $900 for a year which is excessive.

I have a friend who work for News International in London. One of them gave me a phone number that you can call regarding international distribution of the full UK edition including supplements. However, he suggested it costs 330 GBP per annum for the Sunday Times - which is a hell of a lot (over 6 GBP per week) and the paper only arrives on Wednesday! If anyone wants the UK phone number, PM me. I would have thought one of the bookshops like Dymocks or Page One would be able to do it much cheaper tho. The HK libraries or the online edition are other options - not quite the same I know...

Just a correction here - it's Staunton not Elgin, but I looked and the stock is much more magazines than papers.

All the big UK newspapers have the option for online subscription. I appreciate its not the same as having the papers to sit in bed with on a sunday, but its a start.

Personally, I always liked the Times until i found out how biased/partisan the coverage was, though my experience from looking into getting subscriptions from other UK based newspapers/journals was that its generally ridicoulously overpriced to get them here. It basically boils down to how much its worth to YOU to get them here...

Incidently, you can get the economist and other such papers, for a reasonable price here...
