In lieu of our weekly brunch routine, this Sunday we have unanimously voted for dimsum, so everyone, it's time to sign up for the loud and authentic Hong Kong dining experience!!

So whether you hate or love chickenfeet, join in for the food and fun! Note that it is impossible to make reservations at the popular hotspots so we'd all have to gather and just wait in line. But hey, we'd have good company I promise. I might also have a namedrop to use at Maxim's Cityhall if we choose to go there.

I think the toss up is between Lei Garden Wanchai and Maxim's Cityhall. Anybody have a preference or other suggestions? I'm excited already!!

Yay, I love dimsum! May I join? I'm new to this site, and haven't attended any event yet. Maybe I can get someone's mobile number so I can check on Sunday if I am really hanging out with the correct bunch of cool people? :-)

If you go to city hall at 11am there is no problem getting a table.. you just need to be prompt as queue starts fairly swiftly

Ok guys. Time for the specifics. I'm going to make a decision and go for Maxim's at cityhall since the view is nicer. 11am...well, that is a little early for Sunday. I'll say we all meet at around 12.30pm in front of the restaurant and the second I get there I'll get a queue number. I'll need to know how many people are coming to get a table though so everyone keep in touch with me until Sunday morning if any changes occur, like if they can't make it or they want to bring someone along.

Restaurant details are:

Maxim's Palace Chinese Restaurant
Low Block, City Hall

City Hall is right by Queen's Pier where the ferries for central are. If you walk to the glass building with the concert halls etc. the restaurant is up the stairs on the 3rd floor.
