Teenagers in Hong Kong

We will be moving to Hong Kong summer of 2007 wiht our teenage daughter, she'll be 15 by then. I am looking for a penpal or other teeanagers she could talk to about like in Hong Kong. Our other daughter who will have just graduated from High School may also accompany us. Is there anything in Hong Kong for a teenager to do (work) who wants to take a year off before going to college?

Thanks,
Linda

Gday,

Well having been a teenager in HK and only recently migrated into my 20's i can safely tell you there are heeps of things to do!
the schools here are awsome for blending into (certainly the Australian International school, and West Island schools) were great for me.

in terms of getting a job when i finnished High School about 2 years ago i was able to get a Job at a Trust company as an IT technitian. they gave me all the skills and training and it was great. however the hours can be abit daunting.....

at any rate the YWCA near upper Albert road runs a range of cool courses the last time i checked there was one for learning to roller blade... and there are heeps of other places. it all depends.

if you want to know more feel free to hit me back at superdragon2@snowboard.com

all the best

James
