Basically i want to save 5000 out of 15000. Thats the main problem

Saving 5K out of the 15k isnt an impossible task if u really want to do it..
If u cook at home..and if its veg food that u wud cook...

grocery could be about 1000-1200...
transport would be about 1000-1200
room rent may be about 4000 letz assume..
Phone plan maybe about 130$ per month
The electricity and water and gas would totally cost about 200+200+250

Plus a landline and internet and basic TV subscription maybe…about 350-400..

Cant think of anything more…if I have left out something important sorry!
U can keep additional expenses on entertainment etc at about 1000 dollars maybe..

However if you plan to call home a lot..u will need to add on another few dollars...usually the rates are about 1.4$ per minute..so u can probably calculate depending on ur frequency of calling...

=So that would still be less than 9000 a month(i think!)…if you take taxes as about 1000 too…then 5k a month isn’t an impossible task…Good luck!

Also...even if u do decide to eat out...it could probably cost u...
about 12-15$ for a sandwich +10 dollars for a drink for ur breakfast..
about 30-35$ for lunch
another 30$ for dinner..

so that would be... about 90$ a day...so about 2700-3000 dollars a month maybe..

As per your estimated, i have infered that food and rent are the only big issues which will eat into your salary.

Generally you should be fine with English though at times you cant get along well without Cantonese.. Depends on places and people you deal with..

divide your monthly salary by 30.
15000/30=500
[savings] 5000/30=165
balance 500-165=335
[rent]4500/30=150
balance 335-150=185

So you have $185 a day to do whatever you want
