Paper and Portfolio Things

im looking to print my portfolio pieces, and assemble in portfolio cvase or box.

is there any good stationary stores with nice papers to print?
is there a store similar to kinkos here?
is there a nice place to find portfolio cases or boxes?

Depending on what you want printed you could try Colour6 on Stanley Street. There are a few good copy shops in Wanchai- try under the walkway between Jaffe and Johnson St. Portfolio's are probably better sourced online.

well....im in a rush to get one.

what about a shop to buy nice natural paper (8.5x11) to print at home...

like at home we go to papyrus to get 8.5x11 natuyral paper with matching envelope to print resume and mail and stuff....

any stores like that here?
btw...we tried papyrus here, and they dont have 8.5x11....only smaller sizes

Call a printing press and ask them about papers, they may be able to give you off cuts...that's all I can suggest really. Can't help on the portfolio- sorry.

juicy is on a distinguished road
There's a small random shop in Prince Edward just off Fa Yuen Street next to the Bonjour (cosmetics) store that sells some art stuff. I know a few people who have bought portfolios there, but I'm not exactly sure what their selection is.

If you find any kinko's like places in hk let me know, I've been trying to find one myself!

there is indeed a kinko's type place. located next to admiralty station is a chain store a la kinko's, believe its called copy plus??? someone help me, going on very little sleep! the other option is copykat on 3rd floor of prince's building, theres a papyrus in the same building . for portfolios you can try artland on lockhardt road, they also have papers. are you in advertising/design by any chance? anyway good luck.

There are 100's of places in Hong Kong like Kinko's- take off your American glasses and you'll see them.

There is a place in the Admiralty Centre, with another in Prince's Building, 2nd floor, which does portfoloio style folders and binders. They use natural papers and the quality is good. the prices aren't too bad either.

European paper sizes are much more common here than US sizes - is there any particular reason why you need US-size?
