Can anyone give me the address of a decent Newsnet server? Back in blighty I used to use news.btinternet.com but this is only available to Btinternet customers as far as I know.

Who is your ISP? for netvigator: news.netvigator.com
or try news.3home.net

Even if you don't have an ISP google for free news servers heap around. However, I have found that using a free server you need to change servers frequently.

Thanks, will have a look. Don't really use the Newsnet that often but can be handy from time to time.

If you are using it for binaries then Giganews, Easynews and Astraweb are good.
