| Gold coins Do they sell gold coins in Banks here does anyone know before i do some legwork, ive seen some moody looking ones with animals on them, pandas etc on a coin website(not hk).. Are Kruggerands for sale in hsbc/bank of china anyone know... Have to buy some for a "gift pack" cheers |

| Gold coins Most of the banks sell gold coins. Krugerrand, Canadian Maple Leaf etc. Prices vary from bank to bank. Normal price is about 10% higher than the Gold price of the day. |

| Why not buy them from jewellery stores like Chow Tai Fok or Chow Sang Sang? They sell physical bullion in 1 tael (37,5g). The only catch is you must sell the bullion back to the same company (regardless of branch) in order to get their buy in price. That's because they have their store name engraved on them. But gold is gold. The difference between most jewellery store's selling and buy in price is fixed at $300. All the stores sell gold bullion coins at the same price in Hong Kong.
