Jay, you're welcome.

The Costa Rica R.I.P. Red Honey Coffee is interesting and sweet though I can't get other nuances as the brew was too light, ie too coarse grind as they forgot to reset the grinder from french press to paper drip (the earlier group has french press)

Nice one there bloke, you won't regret it. The 5 year commercial warranty included, another nice aspect to the Sunbeam Cafe Series model line up.

I finally found a link to a ACA video, comparing various coffee machines, which aired about 18 months ago, this included, auto and manual varieties, priced from $129AUS to $2300AUS.

For some reason my usual video capture wasn't able to download this clip, so excuse the crudity of my filming the clip using a mini dv camera It got the job done, though.

Have fun with that

I finally had this Bolivia coffee.

First stop, you wouldn't find this Café Fragancia de Galas coffee on CoE website (Cup of Excellence - Award Winning Gourmet Coffee) as its score of 83.19 points was just below the CoE cutoff line of 84 point. Some, however, considers this coffee "National" CoE (whatever that means?) while others do not consider this coffee to carry the CoE designation.

With that out of the way, let talk about the cup. I order this coffee at City+ roast level.

I like a very nice refreshing fruit juice tone of this coffee which goes well with both hot and iced (yes, iced coffee). The coffee is not as complex as other CoE beans I had earlier though but will suit coffee enthusiasts who loves acidity. A touch of sweetness and some creamy notes at the finishing too.

More info on this coffee

still hard to find a good coffee...

For those of us who want a good coffee, AND want the convenience, it's still hard to find a good coffee.

I happened to be in TST east yesterday (Sunday) and remembered the suggestions for Crema Coffee that you guys made. Actually found it, too, but: IT WAS CLOSED!

This afternoon, I tried to go to Coffee Assembly in Soho, but not only is it really hard to find, IT WAS CLOSED, TOO! In fact, it's only open Thursday - Sunday 1-9PM.

That great little place in North Point for fresh roasted beans is also hidden away and only open a few hours a week, and I find it difficult to work my schedule around it.

What's the story? I don't go around the city FOR the coffee; I want to get a good coffee when I'm in the neighborhood. Even with all the efforts to make a note of the places you guys have suggested, I'm still finding it hard to get a good coffee when I need it.

Any more suggestions of places open at more reasonable hours?
