Looks like we're possibly moving out to Sai Kung soon...which means we'll be getting a car.

To those of you living out that way already...is it fairly easy to learn your way around Sai Kung/CWB ...even without a map?

How big of an area is Sai Kung/CWB anyway?

Putting it simply Sai Kung is one long road. Clearwater Bay is another long road. My wife can get around both easily enough so it can't be that difficult (ha! ha! ha!).

It is true both long roads with a roundabout seperationg them with directions of which one is in which direction. Driving out is quite easy to do too. Fairly easy to pikck it up.

You actually do not NEED a car in Sai kung- plenty of people live here without one. The traffic in Sai kung is great on weekedays and easy to drive around however on weekends there is no requirement for a car as you can't go anywhere because of the traffic jam with all the sun seekers and tourists who come out here - esp on a Sunday.

sai kung's good for car ownership as i'm guessing you'll have parking adjacent, likely free. it also doesn't take long to get to clearwater, tseung kwan o and the jordan/yau ma tei area.
