Im thinking about joining pure fitness in IFC. The lady I spoke to said that I could get 50% of the joing fee making it 999 instead of 1999, cos a friend was reffering me, and if I join for one year it would be 999 per month. I was just wondering if this sounded right. Thanks for your help =)

There are a few threads on the site that seems to talk about gym costs (I'm looking into it myself at the moment). General consensus seems to be don't pay a joining fee and something around $800 a month is at the top end (depending on how long you're joining for).

Oh, and suggestion is DO NOT join Cal Fitness!!?
