| AirSoft Capital of the World... where to play? Hong Kong is the AirSoft Capital Of the World! So.... Where To play in HongKong? I have a small clan... just wanted to make a list of Airsoft arena's in HK, both payed and free areas. I would like to have in the list... location... price... and a few details. and will edit list for those whom reply with details. Note prices may change without notice. Pay to play 1. Fa Tam Chong at Tuen Mun BYOG $160 lunch and bus included. Urban assults in an old concrete factory and dis-used school. Great CQB, most arenas are tight but room to move in dark basement and carpark area's 2, M1 at Yuen Long BYOG $160 lunch and bus included theres 4 or 5 arena's and one is a smallish overgrown urban in dis-repair. inbetween to pig farms. the sound of slaughting pigs and the smell can be a bit much... but can add to a real feeling of "death" to your day... lol oh... and seen a big snake there too... lol 3, A island beach area. need to take a junk to get there and first game is around 1pm after a BBQ on the boat. 2 arena's one beach, one bush. More Details on this to come.. 4, Combat Games at Sai Kung BYOG $130 bus included, no lunch Rentals $250 bus included, no lunch (Lunch box $30 or what ever pizza costs.) Nice 4 or 5 area's in bush and overgrown pasture. one in drums and tyres. One of the better places to play. Cool river running though for drinks and a sea breeze on a good day. http://combatgames.com 5, S3 at ...somewhere. BYOG $150 Bus and lunch included. nice setup and lunch area. 5 area's. 1 bush, 1 drums, 1 tyres, 2 x pallets of verious sizes. resonable area, but limited shade and on a sunny day would be torture. Free to Play. 1, Jardene's Lookout Water Catchment. narrow strip of land, half way up mountain. only good for 3 vs 3 max... and a ton of stairs to get there... but its free. Bus and MTR + Lunch only costs. 2, Mt Davis. Great little map with both bush and concrete bunkers and also a open field. a good size that any numbers would be good, but maybe 10 aside + maybe a little crazy... but still great fun. cost... if 4 per taxi then under $20 there x 2 back. + lunch and MTR. I beleive theres like 10 or so arenas so i'm missing a few. please feel free to add any coments to on these or other arena to play at... and will I edit this list. FC |

| Hi there, Good to see a fella amongst all those Pimpballers Would be nice to meet your clan and have some nice skirmishes. What are yours and your mates preferences in terms of gear, firepower, locations etc.? As to your game sites list: There are way more places, both commercial and public ones. For instance I am suprised you didn't mention the quite popular (commercial) game sites Tai Tong or AF just to mention a few more. See ye around... azuremain |

| more details kool... our clan is made up of mostly stock power... but the odd 1.6 and 1.9j mostly teenages and a few adults. all with exerlent english to resonable/poor cantonese... lol we having a BYOG game this coming sunday (19th) atm its a 5 vs 5 but we'll traveling in taxis so trying to round it of at 12 ppls if not 16. will probally be a early start to a mid afternoon finsh. depending on who wants to leave when.. eg: in groups of 4 i think 90% of guns coming will be stock. most of the clan understand... power really don't matter... what matters is how you use it and 0.9 or 1.9 have one thing in common... they all hurt. although a few noobs will be coming so may pay to be gentle. terrian will be bush with a splash of urban... or a open field... lol if you and friends are keen... will give you the details. specking of details... can i have more details of Tai Tong or AF? website would be great if possible. FC edit... oh.. just found out i can't edit my first post. DOH! maybe once list is completed i will repost anyways... i just wanted to edit... 3, A island beach area. BYOG $150ish lunch and ferry included Need to take a Ferry is at Queen's Pier to get there and first game is around 1pm after a BBQ on the boat. Contact Tony (Noa's got mobile phone no.) who heads the HKU wargame club I believe. Area is seperated into 2 zones but you use both zones to play (BIG MAP). Left most area is beach, right most is bush field with wooden cover. Area in between is a hill with DENSE bushes. thxs Noa... FC Last edited by FightingCock; 11-02-2006 at 07:27 PM. | We'll have a game today (12th Feb 06) at AF. Their website is http://www.guns.com.hk/centre/oneday.html . So, do you have more details about the upcoming game on 19th? 5 vs. 5 doesn't sound too interesting, but what about the location? Maybe we can also join other games together, so we'll have more targets ey? Last edited by Azuremain; 12-02-2006 at 12:09 AM. |

| Do any Airsoft venues provide guns & protective gear? During the last outing at Paintball HQ, some interest was expressed to do a future outdoor paintball or airsoft event provided the right circumstances. The main obstacle to getting a large group of geoexpats together for an Airsoft event seems to be the BYOG rule. Judging from the number of responses on this thread so far, very few geoexpats seem to own their equipment or would fall into the 'experienced' category. Thus, my question: Are they any venues in HK that would provide all necessary gear and weaponry so that more of us could play? |

Airsoft games are much larger than the neat indoor paintball events. They are mostly in the remote areas of the New Territories and you can enjoy the better air and beautiful scenery of the countryside. Games are normally on every sunday and they include everything you'll need for the whole game day (i.e. transportation, lunch, weapon, ammo, clothing, protection). The better game sites have Game Marshals and some have English speaking or even native English Instructors. One game site is run by an Ex US Marine and they are well-organized. So, to summerize and answer your question: Don't worry - bring as many folks you like (there are even large scale annual events with around 200 players, usual games consist of around 30 players though) and the rest is done and provided by the organizer. Just bring a good pair of shoes/boots. P.S.: There's a nice outdoor game site that provides both Airsoft and Paintball. The nice thing is that their Paintball rifles look and operate more like real fireams and are thus more like Airsoft weapons, but they still shoot colour ammunition. So, it's a mix of Paintball and Airsoft. A good way to try out a more realistic kind of wargame if you are used to play Paintball. |

| Azuremain, thanks for the info. We would need locations that provide all equipment AND have English-speaking instructors. Can you provide a listing? Also, where is the outdoor paintball site you mentioned in your last paragraph? |

For Expats I would suggest 'Combat Games' in Sai Kung, NT. It's run by an American. Staff is English speaking and native English, respectively. You will find all informations on their bilingual website: http://www.combatgames.com . Don't forget to give me a credit for this |
