Howdy,

Good thread this. Very informative for somebody looking to get involved in airsoft in HK. And i am just that somebody.

I'm a newbie to airsoft but have paintballed before (many years ago). I think airsoft appeals a bit more than paintballing though, as the weapons are more realistic and you don't get covered in paint.

Basically I'd like to get in with a good group of people to do some wargaming. So if anybody needs an additional gun, get in touch.

I've recently purchased a new AEG and am keen to get using it on real people. lol.

Cheers

FightingCock,
So you're the reason I see so many bbs on my running trail!
Interesting!

However, I say this as a person who has played a lot of airsoft in his time:
Don't play in public places like Mount Davis and Jardine's Lookout. Aside from being a danger to hikers, its also illegal. I was up on Mount Davis one time, with about 20-30 other airsofters and then the police showed up. Not one or two cops, it was two VANS filled with 10-15 police. We almost got in a lot of trouble - they were nice enough to just shoo us away (I think it was cause someone's mom was there - you know an older taitai, who told the cops these were just kids playing around, didn't know any better, etc "ahsir dui um zhi"). Had a few people with modified guns over 2 joules as well, so had they broken out the chrono they would have been in deep trouble.
Anyway, yes public places are convient and fun, but looking back at my youth, it was stupid. The potential for hitting someone by accident was too great, esp. with electrics.

I don't play anymore. I went to the army.

Hi guys, i'm new this forum so first of all, nice to meet you.
I'm actually not an ex-pat (i've been living here since birth) but this topic caught my interest and i was wondering if anybody here knows of any indoor airsoft (not paintball) arenas, preferrably at Kowloon side. Basically my friends and I don't have much gear (I have a glock and that's it) so we'd like a compact, interior environment to play casually - basically dip in, shoot each other for about an hour or two or three, and leave. So if anybody knows any indoor arenas for airsoft do reply.

Thanks in advance.

So is this list (on pg. 1) still active? The Combat Games website hasn't been updated in a few years, and when I went by the shop they acted as if they didn't know what I was talking about when I asked them about where to play.

The problem is this: I am looking for a place where I can take a group of students who A) have not played before and B) don't have any of their own equipment. I would prefer some place where they won't be completely destroyed like the newbies they are, and where they can rent their equipment. We are in the Clear Water Bay area, so local to that would be a plus. If someone can point me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated.

Wanna go Glock vs. Glock? When I was a kid, we'd have airsoft pistol battles on the stairs and in the hallways of apartment buildings. Man, that was fun
