and if you're looking to do a little shopping or to go to the cinema...
Tung Chung is a 20 minute bus ride away, with new shops opening all the time, a few new restaurants and a cinema that is usually more empty than full!

Question furnituure

I read that no car allowed in the DB. What do we do if we buy furniture? Carry it ourselves to the apartment?

I wil be moving to Hong Kong and intterested in looking for rental property in Discovery Bay and Happy Vally and North point, just to compare the good/bad points. So far I like Discovery Bay but quite unsure about the journey to work in Wan Chai.
However, most important thing is to find a reliable estate agent who deal with either or both Discovery Bay and Happy Valley. Could you recommend someone for me? We will only have 1 week to find an apartment, is that reasonable? Also once we move in, will they have water and electricity straight away?
Please help.

it will be very difficult to find and agent to do both areas. agents in HK generally only serve certain areas.

this doesn't mean it will be more difficult or time consuming as there are MANY agents in each district.

good luck!
