new to hk hey everyone, hows it goin'? names vick, and i moved to hk abt 3 weeks ago after 12 yrs in philadelphia downtown. just joined this forum earlier today and thought introducing myself would be a decent thing to do. found myself a sweetly furnished pad in taikoo, and i am kinda kicked abt it. i have been making the weekly pilgrimage to LFK on the weekends, some nice places like volar and georges (if i remember the names right) this forum is very active and informative to boot. look fwd to some meet and greet events, getting together with others for dinner n movies or simply dishing advice for new expats to settle in this super city. hope to hear from everyone .... ciao vick

Lucky you! Must be a real nice change from Philadelphia... Not that I'm bias or anything- but there doesn't seem to be too much going on in Philadelphia. Maybe I've been to all the wrong parts... Hong Kong would be a great city to spend a few years....I'm jealous!

hey all ... thanks for taking the time to reply, appreciate it. lfk or even admirality is a quick train ride away from taikoo. and getting around on HK island is not too long and really convenient. on another note, too bad i missed the get together on fri in lfk. really sucked that i had to work late on friday night and then i was just too tired to do anything. shiry, where on the east side are u? i am next to the city plaza mall. later vick
