Corporate attorney?

Does anyone know of a good corporate attorney in Hong Kong, who is familiar with both Hong Kong and US rules and regulations for starting a business in Hong Kong?

You should contact Invest HongKong if you wish to start a business here. They offer a lot of free services and advices. www.InvestHK.gov.hk. I think they also have a list of attorneys meeting your specifications. Good luck!

Top notch advice. They'll do most of the ground work for you -- which would cost you thousands in corp attorney fees.

Hello Knowitall, just wondering what you mean exactly by ground work. I am also starting my own business and met with them (InvestHK) but don't know if they would have really done the ground work for me. What are you referring to? Thanks in advance!

Researching basic questions ... setting up some appointments.

I had sent them some strange questions ... regarding a business we wanted to get into and I was surprised that they found some very precise answers for me. Yes, I could have spent a few hours on Google .. but they did it for me.

I've worked with Danny Wong in the past and have found him pretty willing to go the extra mile.

You have to keep things in the perspective that they have to justify their jobs.... which is at the end of the day judged by the number of businesses they help setup in Hong Kong.

While Mike Rowse does harebrained things like Disney, the worker bees are actually pretty good to work with.
