Red face Expat program during CNY??

I'll be stuck in HK during the CNY. Apart from a squash game I am looking for ideas/mates to kill time - 29 Jan to 1 Feb.

I plan to watch the Australian Open from 1pm to 8pm on 29 Jan on big screen at the Club House in my complex. If interested let me know and I will try to influence Club House management to let me bring me more guest than is 'legally' allowed. The turnout quring the QF tonight was ZERO!

Does anyone else have plan for other program ?

Hi,

Watching the open sounds great. I'll be up for it, as long as you don't live toooo far from me.

Other ideas for you over CNY??? - Go to Stanley - great markets and eating places, and a real expat area.
Shopping in Mong Kok also a winner - just make sure you know how to bargain.
Star ferry to Kowloon.

I'm thinking of heading down to Wan Chai and the pier for the Cathay Pacific parade on Sun night. Apparently it's supposed to be quite an event and colourful - lots of floats etc.

Let me know if you are up for something.

I have heard about the Cathay Pacific parade and will be interested to attend if there's a group going.

I do stay at Manhattan Heights. Just learned that the planned screening for Sunday 29 Jan (Finals) has been cancelled. Instead I will be watching the Semis on Sat 28 Jan 10am-2pm.

Esque - maybe I'll see you there on Saturday.

Porkchop - are you a tennis enthusiast? Why not drop into MH on Saturday for the Semis. We can then discuss what to do on Sunday, Monday, etc.
