| Does one only get one shot at a work visa? Hi, I have been offered a job in HK and the co. will sponsor but is unsure whether I will definitely get my visa accepted by immigration given a lack of experience. I would really like to live in HK so will def need a visa. The issue I have is that if I get rejected by immigration this time will it make it much more difficult if I try again in say an area where I do have more experience. In other words does one get a black mark next to ones name if one is rejected? Thanx. |

| If you hold skills that a local doesn't have than you can get a visa. Otherwise it will be rejected. Experience and education comes in to play as well of course, but the main thing is proving locals (or not enough locals) can fill the position. So I guess to answer your question it depends on your line of work. |
