My vote for best and worse?

Best Thing in 2003– Neil Young at Harbourfest. Truly amazing, one of the best concerts I have ever been too.

Worst thing in 2003– SARS tied with Harbourfest organization (of course excluding Neil Young)

Second best thing: July 1

Worst thing: the doom and gloom of March - May (or was it June?)

Second worst thing: dim prospect of the likes of Mr. Young coming back next year.......but now we're getting into 2004, so I'm outta here!

Phillip Wong :- The most honest opinion voiced by a politician when he flipped off half of Hong Kong.
