Anybody on HKBN internet service?

HKBN has been constantly crashing in the last couple of days on all websites outside of HK. You can't even connect at times for hours on end. Went in to some HKBN forums and other people are experiencing same problem. Anybody here experience this too?

How can major provider fail to this extent? Any techie know what their problem might be? Not using these bozos again next time round.

I don't know about HKBN specifically, but I do know that there was a(nother) sub-sea earthquake in the Luzon Straits last Friday which severed some of the major cables. If HKBN happened to use those cables and doesn't have good resilience then I can imagine that would result in their interconnect connectivity being severely degraded, particularly during daytime hours when they will almost certainly give priority to voice traffic.
