| how to get residence permit for Hong Kong Hi everybody, I am new in this forum and I have big hope that somebody can help me. I was working in HK from 04/01 till 09/03 and had to move to Singapore with my company afterwards. Now I am retired and want to move back to HK to live together with my partner I met during the time I was working in HK. both, my partner and I, we are living separted. There is obviously no rule/guideline available in HK which allows that retired persons who want to live in HK can get a residence permit - although I have a good pension and I am healthi nsured (dependent visa is not possible because we are only separated, working permit is not available since retired). In conclusion, I do not need any sponsor, I do not need any help from the government. Can somebody give me any advice?? Hans Dieter |

| Possible options: Investment Visa or travel in and out on a visitor visa if you're not working.

| I suspect you could also get an extended visit visa from ImmD if you asked them nicely and explained the situation to them. Why not email them and ask: enquiry@immd.gov.hk |

| hi, At some point in time in the year ahead the repeated tourist exit/entry will be noted. An investment visa would be the option. In brief, you invest a minimum of seven million HK$, for seven years = HK permanent ID . For full details on the schem refer to immigration dept. good luck. |
