Hi newbie here. I came to HK around a year ago and after stuffing myself with food and gaining considerable wieght I’m looking to regain my fitness by playing rugby in Hong Kong. (I've played a bit in secondary school)

So my question is, would there be any rugby clubs who would welcome an unfit 25-year-old rookie? I live and work in Quarry Bay so a club within 30 minutes travelling would be ideal. Any info would be appreciated, cheers.

Also, if I can start from touch rugby that would be even better.

Come by the White Stag in Wan Chai some night and ask around. They have a pub team and most rugby fans stop in from time to time to catch up on things.

King's Park at Kowloon has lots of rugby games on every Saturday afternoon. You could drop by and start talking to some of the coaches?

Come to Kowloon RFC. Training is optional, but we do drink & tour very well.
Training at So Kon Po (next to HK stadium) on Tuesday & Thursdays @ 7.30pm We welcome any shape, size, level of finess and drinking capacity.

come and hv fun with the ruggers in Hong Kong Football Club (www.hkfc.com.hk). gd facilities, u can come and play touch on thursday. why not come and take a look ?

Same question stands really.. played it before but now I really am outa shape and would like to pick it up again. Anyone know of any clubs where they take people with skills near well.. :P rock bottom?
