Apartment hunting in Shatin, Daiwai, Fo Tan

Me and 2 other friends are looking for an apartment in the above areas (want to be on the KCR East Line to reduce travelling time). Any suggestion which is a better place to find reasonably cheap accomodation? Thanks!
