How much Taxes should I pay for working in HK?

I am offered a job at an Aus-owned company. My salary is agreed on 9000 for probation period of 3 months and some increment after that. I am Australian, just wondering if I should pay any taxes in Australia if the whole income is to be earned in HK? And How much should I pay to HK taxes department?

This is my first time to be working in HK, I hope ur kind advice would be a great help for me to start my new career in a new place.

Happy new year for all Expatriates in HK!!

Sum

You will work in HK or Macau (location on your profile).

if Macau, well the rate is very very low and with a 9.000 HKD salary you won't have to pay any taxes.

The same applies to HK as your first 100.000 HKD/year aren't taxable..

P.S: Fair chances of basic allowance limit to be raised back to 104000 or something from next year as hinted by FS

If you are living, working and being paid in HK, you don't pay any Australian tax on that income.
