ksrnf will become famous soon enough
hi, i live in fanling, N.T. I guess i'm a beginner/intermediate and i'd love to get into some more sports again. I played badminton at university and just haven't done much since coming back to HK.

ummm, i'd like to say 'email me if anyone is interested in playing badminton anytime, anywhere' but since we aren't supposed to post our emails.......

just looked at the thread again, seems like there's a bunch of us in NT, which is kind of surprising. thought i was the only one here cherry_coke and kaiw you are in shatin right? and i think chocoanny and ksrnf are nearby too. should we maybe organize something in these parts, say in between games with the other guys elsewhere? any good ideas? i don't know the facilities too well around the area though...

Hi All,

Still got room for me to join your badminton activitie?
My skill is between a beginner and intermediate.
I'm keen to play if someone will organise the games. Please let me know the details.

Cheers.

Thanks Cherry Coke...let me know if you want a game...there's a sports centre in Shatin along Yuen Wo road. Though i will be going away to Shanghai this monday, for a week and a half, so it will have to be after then...

I would definately be up for some sort of a group/ladder/organised matches...

I'm trying to organise some badminton games at the moment....sigh someone has to kick start events, right?

There are plenty of courts available all over the N.T in the various sports centres available. We just need to sort out where everybody lives, find out when they are available and find a common venue to play.

I'm interested in playing badminton, live in the Causeway Bay area, and am at an intermediate level. Anyone who lives around here interested in getting together at some point?

Are you referring to a GeoExpat New Territories Badminton Club? I would be up for that. Please count me in.

Actually, I don't mind playing on New Territories, Kowloon or Hong Kong Island side.

I would say I am a rusty intermediate as I have not played for a few years or so.

Badminton courts can be booked online on Leisurelink.

Is Sha Tin a good base for everybody?

since it seems as if most people are from around shatin then that's probably the best place to hold it. I'm not too familiar with shatin myself as i'm in fanling so it would be best if someone from around shatin found a court?
