Lightbulb Best Bars in Wan Chai

(rudely copying texasaxel's post about the best bars in TST )

What are the best bars in Wanchai (music desired not necessarily live, dancefloor optional, available seating would be nice iso standing room only)?

Havn't been partying in Wanchai at all!

I'll try to head into the unknown and would appreciate your advice.

While not limited to WanChai, this poll/thread provides a few recommendations: Your favorite club/bar/pub in Hong Kong ?

Imo, there are broadly three types of 'bars', not sure which type you're interested in:

a. drinking only plus perhaps a TV
b. with a dancefloor but not a nightclub (e.g cover charge, no happy hour)
c. with a pool/billiards table or other diversions

For Wanchai, one might add a fourth category, e.g. those types of establishments where men encouraged to buy drinks for the staff ... but I doubt that this is scope of this post.

I, sir, think you should. Jiggly bars are part of the Hong Kong experience.

In fact, don't walk too closely to the entrance of those places (walk close to the curb instead), I have had my arm grabbed a couple of times and at one point I was almost pulled inside against my will - only loud shouting made her let go. A list of no-go places shouldn't be necessary - it is blatently obvious from the outside what kind of business it is.

Ooops, how wrong I was. It turns out every posting has been about this fourth category ... how about talking about places like mes amis, kangaroo bar, skitz etc?
