I absolutely have to see Oasis when they hit Hong Kong in Feb - they play on Feb 25th.

Is anyone interested in coming along?

Oasis ticket info

Hi All

I've gone away and done my homework. The gig is at the Asia World arena. The link below (if it works) shows arena plan and ticket prices. Basically standing and seating tickets in the first half of the arena near the stage are both hk$750 - not cheap, but probably worth stretching to.

I think tickets may sell fast so I'm thinking of going to Tom Lee in Wan Chai tomorrow at about 2pm.

If you guys still wanna go do you think we should go for seating or standing so that anyone can join later if they want. I guess the only thing is that Oasis fans are known to be pretty rowdy in the standing areas!!

If you want to come along to get tickets send me a PM

Tom Lee at 7pm Tue

I'm heading to Tom Lee in Wanchai at 7pm on Tuesday 3rd to make sure I've got tickets. I've checked the net, and there still seems to be a fair few available, but I wont rest til i have my hands on one! I think Phoenix is gonna meet me there too.

If anyone wants to jump in at the last minute, send me a PM or head to Tom Lee and meet us there.

$750? Though, I'd like to go to the show, I can't imagine paying 100US for the honor.

Are there really that many people willing to pay the price?

I'm not sure how big the arena is, but yeah, they're basically expecting half the audience to pay that - i think seating is something like HK$300 at the far end of the arena. Any more takers towards this end of the ticket pricing?

No arguement with me about the top prices - they wouldn't get away with it in Europe. I'm only up for it because I've seen them live once before and they're a great stage band. I guess they must reckon that with just 2 gigs in the region they can take the p**s! Plus, they certainly need the cash..... ;o)
