| Oh to the original poster and to everyone else, You won't get a lot of problems with people robbing you... but if you carry too many gadgets and show them off, you may have some problems with kids trying to jump you. I once had a PSP, iPod video, brand new cellphone, and a Bluetooth headset. (well, my hands are holding the PSP, my iPod is dangling from my neck, cellphone on my belt and Bluetooth headset on my ear) Then some cops suggested to me I shouldn't "expose my expensive belongings". |

| I think HK is very safe (especially if you come from a place like London!) I have a friend that takes the bus home to Kennedy Town late all the time. However, I generally prefer to cab it because they are cheap and plentiful. |
