I'm playing around with some subscription options.

Yes, I expect that there will be a payment for some of the classifieds .... property ads for sure will require some form of payment.

Old adverts will be phased out soon (i.e. no renewals).

I expect one of the following options, or a combination of them, to be implemented by the end of the week.

1) Straight payment per advertisement.
2) Subscription... i.e. premium member with a monthly fee ...

Will announce this, once we make the classifieds live.

Can you put a separate section on the classified for properties to be SOLD by Owner (for both HK, Macau and China Properties)? I think you will have many interested people that want to sell and possibly buy property without having to deal with an Agent.

The key to running a good classifieds service is to have both buyers and sellers and I'm not too sure about the property buyer market on GeoExpat .. let me think about it though.

I for one would be interested. The property post on the other xpat site isn't very useful, format or content wise. Otherwise gohome is quite good, but very often out of date.
