Scuba diving course in HK

I am going to the Great Barrier Reef over Easter and want to get my scuba certification before. Does anybody know of a place in HK where I can do this? (Ideally at nights or weekends).
Thanks!!

Might be a good starting place.

What's involved in getting certified, in time and money terms as well as actual training? Scuba's been vaguely on my list of things to do for ages - this may be the year!

Doug.

As for money, I am not really sure, the shop takes care of the billing, I just teach. I think its between $3-4000, but I'm just guessing.

As for time, it takes 1-2 days in the classroom, a day in the pool, and 2 days of diving in open water for a total of 4 dives.

Just found this thread - and like others I'm keen to learn here in HK before I miss out on more opportunities to dive whilst holidaying in 2006!

Sylvesterjay - I've PM'd you to ask for more details. Thanks.
