If you are Asian, dont wear A& F (A & female dog substitute b for f ). In the states they have sold racist caricature tee shirts of Chinese and Japanese-Americans. Moreover, they settled a class action lawsuit for blatant discriminatory hiring practices keeping US blacks, Asians, and Hispanics out of their stores in order to create a certain look and image as they deemed. Any proud Asian would not wear that garbage. You define yourself, especially in Asia not some racist company based in MN. If you are going to wear a brand wear others, like Esprit.

Also dont wear Hollister which is owned by A&F. Surprised no one wears it here. If you go to any college campus in the US 1/2 women wear "low rider" Hollister sweats. And these are preppy women not some Paris Hilton skank. The point is the brand is owned by A&B and you are putting money into their pockets.

Hmm, then why do you see so many locals weather A&F t-shirts? In terms of where to get them, Shenzhen! I have bought 6 t-shirts and they are exactly the same as ones I got in the US. They even are in the bags ready to ship to the US, with A&F pricetags on them! I paid 50HKD each instead of 37.50USD

Besides the one location mentioned, Tin Hau, that sells authentic A&F, do all these places sell fake A&F?

I ask because I once bought a sweater off ebay from a seller in HK, thinking it COULD very well be a fake but I just wanted to see, and when it came, it was such a bad fake. It was itchy and just so obviously not authentic.

I know a lot of people are fine just wearing what appears to be brand name, not caring whether it's fake or not, but still... after that bad ebay experience, I am apprehensive about buying A&F in HK (since A&F isn't even officially located there... so if it IS real, I guess it comes from their factories before being shipped to N. America)

Nifty : the stuff in Stanley is pretty much authentic factory rejects / overruns. I know the fakes you're talking about .. these are not the same -- good quality stuff.
