Apparel Garment Textile job for an Indian moving to HK as a dependent

Hi,

My husband has got a job offer from Barclays Capital. We would be moving from US to HK possibly. I would be on a dependent visa. I have degree in textile designing and fashion designing from one of the most reputed institutes of India. I was wondering what are my chances of my landing up a Textile/Garment/Apparel job in HK, given that I don't know Chinese, Cantonese or Mandarin. I am very well versed in English and some native Indian Languages.

Thanks

There are a fair number of expats working in the garment sector. Like many of the jobs here in HK, it would just need you to network with the people in the right places.

Keep in mind that dependants cannot work and you'll need to be good enough for a company to want to sponsor your work visa.
