Has anyone tried "Sense of Touch" spa on Hollywood Rd? I hear it is a nice boutique spa for waxing, threading and all types of facials. Anyone hear anything about the place??

Oh wanted to add that it won some award for best boutique spa 2005. But it would be nice to find a good place for eyebrow shaping and facials.

I've been to this spa. I got waed (sorry, the third letter of that word doesn't work on this computer). I had my legs, bikini, and armpits done by a lady named Kala, and she was great. Very gentle, and I'm a sissy when it comes to pain. I've been waing for the past five years, and she's the best I had. Although I don't know anything about their facials or threading, I totally recommend this place.

Thanks for the mini review - glad to see that at least someone has heard of the place. It is hard to find a place/person to trust for facials and eyebrow shaping.

I've been there a couple of times - they do a nice pedicure and I had my eyebrows shaped. They used threading. I've never had that before - it wasnt any more painful than waxing but was a little weird but I was happy with the result. Each time I've been to the one on Hollywood Road - I'm hopeless with appointments so just walked in and got an appointment straight away or in the next half hour which was perfect - they are usually quite busy so i think I've just been lucky.
