Hello. I am moving soon to Hk and will work in a consultancy company. How are (in general) the rules regarding social security and written notification of resignation or fire? Thanks!
pretty similar to international practices, except many employers here skimp on medical coverage for the first 3-6 months. i'd say overall being an employee in HK is a bit worse than in other developed economies, since working crazy hours is considered a picture of normalcy, benefits aren't as clearly defined etc.
