| I made my wedding gowns in two tailors' places, not shops, both were upstairs. I found one of them in PCCW's yellow pages, turned out that it was their only ad since they needed not advertise, their customers recommended them to their friends and they kept coming, so their prices were very honest and much cheaper than those who advertised. The other one was a new one which my husband happened to come across in the street. You may find classified ads in local Chinese magazines but I doubt if they were good.
If you're trying on the gown always bring a friend since we happened to see a bride trying on a gown that didn't fit and the saleslady said it fitted. |
