Decent Chinese Food (UK)

As anyone from England who is a barbarian like myself will have noticed, the Chinese food at home tastes a lot better than it does here. This is prob because its crammed full of preservatives, artificial flavours, colouring stuff, MSG and lots of those 'E' numbers your mother will have warned you about....

Anyway, I have finally tracked down a chinese take-away (delivery) that has managed to recreate the taste of Chinese Food (UK) (if microsoft can English (US) i can have Chinese Food (UK)!!). After trying a few dishes I can say that they do this across the board, not just with Black Bean Sauce dishes....

Anyway, the place is called LUCKY DRAGON (i found it on foodbyweb)

Hope this helps anyone else craving proper Chinese Food (UK)

Seriously, one of my UK or US "fixes" that I must get when I travel .. is the Chinese food. MUST go to a mall and get some of that noxious food.

Yes but it's the cr@p taste that we miss. Haven't had curry chips for some time too.

Thai food is better in thailand. However, this doenst mean that the same has to apply to all foods in the world. Is the best french restaurant necessarily in France? No.

It breaks down to what you are used to and what types of tastes you like. Personally, i think the food here isnt anywhere like as nice as in Blighty. Its not even greasy!
