I am interested, but am out of town on the 13th.

My building has a game room and a function room which might be able to be rented.

I also have chips and cards.

But I want to play for decent money HK$400 per person at least.

Is there any interest for that kind of game?

ED: 400HK game may attract the sharks, lol. let's go with 100hk and if there is a group willing to go to that level it will likely evolve from this group.

i agree, it's a shame it closes at 10pm, but i suppose it just means more drinking, a pint before, a pint during, and i suppose pints afterwards, lol ... it'll be kindof rushed when i come to think about it, but it will get the ball rolling

With the time restrictions, it may be better to play a cash game rather than a tourney this week. Say $100 buy-in, blinds at $0.5/1. Either PL w/ live straddles or NL....?

i think its gonna have to be cash games.. 2 hours may not be long enough and we dont want to not have finished.. again.. what area is it that you live in ?

are we going to put a cap on how many people can come? i mean i think 9 is probably the max we should have. esp for a cash game. We also need to know what area we are playnig in so we can come to a decision on what bar to meet in before hand. And seeing as we can only play til 10 and we are playing cash games why not start at say 7? if people cant get there til 8 or so its no big deal seeing as we arent playing tournament style? Also we may need 2 sets of chips if we got 9+ people, im sure we can get enough packs of cards so thats no bother
