maybe i shld try the EMBA one... hmmm...

agree that GMAT score doesn't tell much but for someone as lazy as me in writing essays about aspiration prob a good GMAT score will let them close half their eyes and be more lenient..

my friend used to have a theory, especially for the real good MBA program. those with like 760 or 780 will get a better chance even if their CVs are not impressive. reason being that many of the participants are management guys (the more senior ones) and they tend to be weaker academically. the biz school need to be able to tell others :"we have an average of 700 for our GMAT" so they'd need to take in the high scorers to bring up the average...

sounds logical ?

My husband is considering the emba with hku. The program that has the collaboration with london business school. husband is going to speak to the people at hku when he comes to visit me at the end of Aug. And i read that with hku, they have placements for their students. Hopefully, the placements are with established companies.

I'm hoping that hubby will be able to get a sabbatical leave with Singtel for him to do his mba. Will see what happens next may. Actually, when i go my masters, my current employer didn't pay me more too. But the masters was actually for my own enrichment.
