hotel gyms

Can anyone pls recommend a decent hotel gym, preferably with a pool, as an alternative to the usual Fitness First type places? Ideally somewhere you can longe around a bit on a weekend as well as running etc... Any idea of cost?

Shangri-La quoted me about 35000k a year or something, which seems a lot.

I heard the Park Lane is ok, but no pool, but haven't been able to find anything on the internet regarding prices.

Cheers

Are you staying at the hotel or do you just want a good gym and pool? If you are staying in the hotel, why not try a service apartment with a pool like Parkview or the Gateway - depending on your budget. If you just want to use a gym and pool then there is one gym in Central which has a pool but Ive forgotten the name of it now.
What are you looking for?

Thanks.

What I was after was somewhere nice where I could do a spot of lounging around of a weekend with a bit of exercise thrown in too.

Problem is hotels seem to be astronomically expensive from what info I can gather...

You are probably better off joining Physical, and then going to the one in TST - which is built inside the Sheraton Hotel. Although it doesn't include the hotel facilities, I'm sure you can pay on a per use basis and would probably be cheaper than paying 35000k a year
