How long will this deep freeze continue?

Its blinkin freezin today. Suddenly the temp has dropped to 12C. I am going to have to wear a jumper outside, but worse its getting cold inside. Okay, okay, i know its not really cold, the UK is about 6C at the mo and i should be used to it etc etc, but its all relative and in the UK we have heating! Novel concept i know.

Anyway, how long will this coldness continue?

You realise that it's the sudden drop in temperature here that is affecting us. In the UK we get several weeks to adjust here we get a day. And we have heaters everywhere here they carry on using the air-con because it's factored into the shopping mall/office management fees.

Bad news I'm afraid... last year was like this right through to the end of January. I always imagined HK would be tropical all year round. Guess not!

I am, im migrating to OZ for xmas, and i will be coming back with jumpers. Why dont they turn the damn aircon off anywhere? Even if it is factored into the running costs, turning it off would save money.

So cold! Agh! That said, at least its not wet and the wind here isnt as piercing as in blightly...

You can get yourself a fan heater from $100-200 or have hot pot for dinner, available at Cafe de Coral and Maxim's.

They have paid in advance a fixed sum of money. Switching it off will not save them a cent.
