Censorship in HK How bitterly ironic, that I am watching 1984 at this moment, and yet the government or Big Brother or whoever, seems to think we aren't adult enough to see nudity and has to delete it for us to protect our fragile sensibilities.

Did you watch on TV or get the DVD? I've seen plenty of nudity in HK Cat III movies so I'm not sure why you are having this problem. Also night time TV is a lot less restricted in HK than it is in the U.S.

It's the censorship of swear words but non-censorship of scantily-clad women or triad-style choppings on programs aired in the early evenings.

I was watching it on NOW Broadband around 11pm. Why, as adults, is it decided for us what is and isn't acceptable for us to see, by some repressed troglodyte?

Now Broadband TV has more censorship than the free to air TVB (Pearl) and World stations because it shares the feed with lameass Singabore. Yes, you did in fact waste money even bothering with Now Broadband. Bittorrant would have been a better choice. The only four letter word that I've seen TVB censor was the f word. Boobs and all that good stuff seems to be let through with no problem (At night). Are there any pay TV providers that actually offer uncensored content?
