| What if visa gets refused, must I leave immediately? Hi there,
I am a EU national thinking of setting up my own a company in Hong Kong. I am registered as self employed in my home country at the moment and currently come to HK on business. My plan is to make HK my base and have been told that setting up business is a pretty straightforward process. I have been told that you simply buy a company which is ready made through a HK chartered accountant and begin filing taxes in HK. Has anyone heard of this?
What I do not know is if this then makes a work visa application easier or even automatic or if has no weighting on it.
If I need to apply for a visa, my concern is what happens if the work visa is refused? Does it mean that I would have to leave HK immediately and stop conducting business?
Many thanks for all your help. |
